Beyonce Knowles is expected to perform her latest tour The Beyonce Experience, on November 3 at The Venetian Macao, according to the resort’s website.
The 27-year-old is currently one of the hottest properties since stepping away from RnB girl group Destiny’s Child, the best-selling female group of all time.
Not simply a singer, Beyonce is also a songwriter, record producer, music video director, actress, dancer and fashion designer.
She released her first solo album Dangerously in Love in 2003, making it one of the biggest successes of the year which produced two number one singles ‘Crazy in Love’ and ‘Baby Boy’ and earned the singer five Grammy awards in one night the following year.
Her second album, B’Day, was released last year to coincide with her 25th birthday, creating two UK number singles ‘Deju Vu’ and ‘Beautiful Liar’ as well as ‘Irreplaceable’, the worldwide number one hit, which also awarded Beyonce her seventh Grammy, with her current total standing at ten.
As one third of Destiny’s Child, which was awarded a recording contract in 1997 by Columbia Records, making their debut record as part of the soundtrack for the movie Men in Black, titled ‘Killin’ Time’. Despite several name changes over the years, the re-organised group went on to produce such worldwide hits as ‘Say My Name’, ‘Survivor’ and ‘Bootylicious’.
Meanwhile, Beyonce is expected to begin work on her third studio album in December.
As for her movie career, her credits include ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’, ‘The Pink Panther’ and most recently, ‘Dreamgirls’ for which Beyonce was nominated a Golden Globe for ‘Best Actress in a Motion Picture Movie or Comedy’.
